Thomas Armaly
Managing Director

Thomas Armaly
Thomas Armaly is the Managing Director and Founder of VEA Properties, bringing over 12 years of hands-on experience as a property operator, investor, and operations executive across the U.S. and international markets.
Over the course of his career, Thomas has built and managed large-scale rental operations, including overseeing the launch of 18 markets, supporting 900+ listings, and helping scale platforms through periods of rapid growth and acquisition. His background spans short-term, mid-term, and long-term rentals, with a deep focus on systems, operations, vendor management, and owner experience.
While Thomas spent years managing hundreds of Airbnb-style properties, VEA Properties represents a deliberate shift toward a more boutique, owner-first model. After working at scale, he saw firsthand where traditional management breaks down, excessive tenant interruptions, reactive maintenance, bloated fees, and owners losing visibility into what’s actually happening at their properties.
In parallel with his professional roles, Thomas has been a property investor and landlord for over 12 years, owning and operating rentals in multiple U.S. states and Mexico. That dual perspective of operator and owner shapes how VEA Properties works today. Every system, communication flow, and maintenance process is built with the mindset of someone who has their own capital invested.
Thomas specializes in mid-term (30+ day) and long-term rentals, where stability, care, and operational consistency matter more than nightly turnover. His approach prioritizes longer tenant stays, reduced wear and tear, proactive maintenance, and clear communication, allowing owners to stay informed without being involved in daily issues.
VEA Properties reflects Thomas’s belief that great property management isn’t about controlling everything. It’s about running clean operations, setting expectations, and removing friction for both owners and tenants.

Jose Marrero
Jose Marrero is a Managing Partner at VEA Properties and a licensed REALTOR® with over 15 years of experience in South Florida real estate. His background spans residential sales, investor representation, property inspections, and transaction oversight across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Jose began his real estate career in 2006 and has spent the majority of his career working directly with property owners, buyers, and investors, guiding them through acquisitions, lease transitions, and operational decisions with a strong emphasis on compliance, clarity, and long-term value. His experience includes managing and inspecting hundreds of properties, coordinating repairs, and navigating complex transactions, including large-scale post-storm recovery following Hurricane Irma.
As a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, Jose plays a key role in bridging communication between owners, tenants, vendors, and licensed brokerage partners. His ability to clearly explain processes, expectations, and next steps helps reduce friction and ensure smoother operations throughout the property lifecycle.
At VEA Properties, Jose’s role focuses on market insight, leasing compliance, between-tenant coordination, and licensed real estate support when required. His presence allows VEA to deliver operational efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to Florida real estate regulations, without forcing owners into traditional commission-based models.
Jose is known for his calm, educational approach and his commitment to building long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. He brings a practical, detail-oriented mindset to VEA Properties, ensuring owners receive thoughtful guidance without unnecessary complexity.
Jose’s Perspective on VEA Properties
After more than a decade in real estate, I’ve seen how overwhelming property ownership can become when owners are pulled into daily issues or forced into management models that don’t fit their needs.
What drew me to VEA Properties is its focus on operations first, clear communication, proactive maintenance, and respect for owner control. VEA fills the gap between traditional property management and hands-off ownership, especially for mid-term and long-term rentals where consistency matters most.

Sarah Palacios
Sarah Palacios is a Managing Partner at VEA Properties, bringing more than 10 years of experience in hospitality, property operations, and residential real estate. As a licensed REALTOR® and experienced property manager, she combines operational expertise with a people-first approach that prioritizes exceptional service for both property owners and residents.
Before joining VEA Properties, Sarah built and managed a successful portfolio of more than seven short-term rental properties, overseeing every aspect of operations, including marketing, guest communications, vendor coordination, maintenance, and owner relations. Throughout her time as an Airbnb host, she earned and maintained Superhost status for more than five years while receiving over 250 five-star guest reviews, a reflection of her commitment to consistency, responsiveness, and delivering exceptional experiences.
With a professional background rooted in hospitality and customer service, Sarah believes that outstanding property management goes beyond maintaining a home. It is about creating trust, anticipating needs, and making every interaction feel effortless. Her ability to build genuine relationships and deliver personalized service has become one of her greatest strengths, allowing her to consistently exceed expectations for owners, residents, and guests alike.
At VEA Properties, Sarah focuses on owner communication, resident experience, leasing support, marketing, and operational coordination. She believes the best property management is proactive rather than reactive, emphasizing preventative maintenance, clear communication, and thoughtful systems that protect an owner’s investment while creating a positive experience for residents.
Sarah’s philosophy is simple: people remember how you make them feel. In an industry where service expectations are often surprisingly low, she is passionate about creating memorable experiences that consistently exceed them. Whether welcoming a new resident, supporting a property owner, or coordinating behind the scenes, her goal is always to deliver a level of care that builds lasting trust and confidence.
Sarah’s Perspective on VEA Properties
I’ve always believed that property management is a people business first. Beautiful homes and efficient systems matter, but what truly sets a company apart is the experience it creates for owners and residents alike.
At VEA Properties, we strive to raise the standard by combining clear communication, proactive service, and genuine care for every property we manage. My goal is simple: create an experience that makes owners feel confident their investment is in good hands and residents feel genuinely cared for throughout their time in our homes.
Cheers,
Sarah
- A note from our founder
I built VEA Properties after spending years inside large-scale properties and hospitality operations. Managing hundreds of units taught me a great deal: how to build systems, scale teams, and maintain operations across multiple markets. But it also showed me what gets lost when management becomes too big: personal accountability, clarity, and alignment with owners. As an owner myself, I didn’t want a company that treated properties like inventory. I wanted one that treated them like investments.
VEA was created to sit in the middle ground, not short-term hotel-style management, and not hands-off long-term neglect. Most owners I work with don’t want daily phone calls or surprise maintenance issues, but they also don’t want to give up control or pay a percentage of their rent for services they don’t need.
So VEA focuses on what actually matters:
- Tenant communication handled professionally
- Maintenance managed proactively
- Vendors coordinated efficiently
- Clear visibility for owners, without constant involvement
Flat pricing. No noise. No unnecessary complexity. My goal with VEA Properties is simple: help owners worry less, protect their assets, and run smoother rentals without traditional management headaches.
- Worry less. We handle the rest.
